Types of Nerve Pain
There are different types of nerve pain, including:

Radiculopathy – Radiculopathy is a disease that affects the root of a nerve. This
may be caused by a tumor or a pinched nerve. Types of radiculopathy include
lumbar radiculopathy, sciatica, thoracic radiculopathy, and cervical radiculopathy.
Symptoms of this condition may include numbness, tingling, weakness in
the limbs, and / or pain.

Ulnar neuropathy – Ulnar neuropathy is a condition that involves the ulnar nerve.
Also known as cubital tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy is a common cause
of wrist pain in bicyclists. Symptoms of this condition include numbness
and tingling in the ring and little finger muscles as well as the back
of the hand, and general weakness in the hand.
