About Dr. Singh
Rishika Singh, MD, is board-certified in Pediatrics with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Bjramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College (B.J. Medical College), Pune, India. She completed her pediatric residency at Western Michigan University, School of Medicine, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Her background includes positions at: Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Georgia; Lakeview Health Center in Lakeport, California; and Lake County Tribal Health Consortium in both Lakeport and Clearlake, California. Since then, she has joined Washington Township Medical Foundation as one of our pediatricians.
Dr. Singh’s philosophy of care is influenced by her family’s history in health care, as well as her interest in integrative medicine. Both of her parents were practicing physicians, and she was inspired by the number of people they helped throughout their careers. Exposed to the hospital and health care settings during her formative years, she was inspired to practice medicine and help people improve their lives. In addition to this, Dr. Singh believes in an interconnected approach to medicine, which involves combining mental, nutritional, lifestyle, and evidence-based medical treatments for the whole person. As a pediatrician, she counsels families on developing a solid foundation, making lifestyle choices, and adopting a preventive approach for their children.
From a young age, she discovered fulfillment not only in interacting with children, but also in aiding them in their time of need. Dr. Singh has always known she wanted to be a pediatrician, a conviction that preceded her journey through medical school.
Outside medicine, Dr. Singh enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family.
