About Dr. Sharma
Ranjana Sharma, MD, has an extraordinary reputation for delivering the highest quality of care. A long time Fremont resident, Dr. Sharma has been practicing in the Tri-City communities since 1989 and has a passion for community-based activities. She received her medical degree from Aligarh University Medical School in India, followed by a fellowship in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Hiroshima University School of Medicine in Japan. Her experience is deep. After moving to the U.S., Sharma completed her Family Practice residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and also became Assistant Clinical Professor. She has served as Medical Director of the Physician Assistant program at Stanford University School of Medicine and was Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Stanford. At Washington Hospital, Dr. Sharma is past Chair of the Department of Family Practice and formerly Chief of Medical Staff. She has served as Chief Medical Officer of Washington Township Medical Group from 2009 until she recently stepped down from the role in 2023 to practice medicine again at WTMF's Danielson clinic.
