About Rachhpal Kaur

Rachhpal Kaur is a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a strong educational background and diverse clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University East Bay in Hayward, CA, and went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Texas at Arlington. Rachhpal’s career includes a wealth of clinical experience in various settings, including charge nurse at Windsor County Drive Care Center in Fremont, telemetry and med-surg nurse at San Ramon Regional Hospital, and OR/GI nurse at Washington Outpatient Surgery Center in Fremont. Currently, Rachhpal serves as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Washington Health Medical Group’s Mowry Family Practice Clinic.

Rachhpal’s philosophy of care is centered around the belief that healthcare is an incredibly rewarding profession. She is passionate about helping people achieve their best health through preventative care and providing comfort when they are sick. The profound sense of fulfillment she derives from making a positive difference in her patients' lives drives her daily work. Rachhpal is motivated by the opportunity to improve her patients' quality of life, addressing their physical, mental, and emotional health needs. Additionally, the chance to contribute positively to her community motivates her to continue her career in healthcare.

Rachhpal chose family medicine because of its broad scope and the unique opportunity it provides to build long-term, authentic relationships with patients. Family medicine allows her to care for patients over an extended period, helping them navigate a wide variety of health challenges. This specialty enables her to provide comprehensive and preventative care, not just for individuals but often for entire families. The lasting bonds she forms with her patients are one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.

Outside of her clinical responsibilities, Rachhpal enjoys spending time in her backyard garden, listening to music while walking in her neighborhood, and watching documentaries or movies based on real-life events. She is also excited to be a part of Washington Township Medical Foundation and looks forward to contributing to the community through her work.
