About Meghana Bachu

Meghana “Maggi” Bachu, DNP, ARNP, FNP-C, is a compassionate and bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in providing comprehensive care to adults 18 years and older. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Medicine from Pacific Lutheran University, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at William Jewell College and her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Meghana’s clinical experience spans a variety of healthcare settings, including family medicine, community health, and cardiac care. As a Family Nurse Practitioner at Washington Township Medical Foundation, she provides preventive care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management for adult patients. Meghana’s work has also included providing care in both public health and private practice settings, where she gained valuable experience serving diverse and underserved communities.

In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Meghana completed a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner residency at International Community Health Services in Seattle, WA. During her residency, she worked at a Federally Qualified Health Center, serving non-English-speaking patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, which included pharmacists, social workers, and counselors.

Meghana's approach to patient care is holistic, treating the person as a whole rather than focusing solely on their medical condition. She emphasizes mental health, wellness practices, and access to community resources to empower her patients in their healthcare journeys.

Outside of her professional life, Meghana enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, and exploring different parts of the world.
