Featured in the Huffington Post, Katherine Albrecht, lifehacker.com, empowHER.com, and the Times of India, Nitun Verma is the leading sleep medicine physician in the Bay Area.
The Washington Township Center for Sleep Disorders utilizes state-of-the-art technology to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions related to sleep, such as sleep apnea, snoring, sleepiness, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, and narcolepsy. Our Center is also the only sleep center affiliated with Washington Hospital Healthcare System, and is one of only two sleep centers in the East Bay accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the authoritative accrediting organization for sleep centers. The Center's Medical Director, Dr. Nitun Verma completed his fellowship in adult and pediatric sleep medicine at Stanford University.
As a comprehensive sleep clinic, we treat both adult and pediatric patients, answering their questions, and reassuring them. With treatment options integrated from other medical specialties, the clinic is a 'one stop' center to treat sleep disorders by all effective methods. This is what is required to reduce the morbidity and mortality of drowsy driving, hypertension, strokes, heart attacks, depression, and other conditions caused and/or worsened by sleep disorders.
